
At the end of this month Kansas City's Westside suffered double tragedy that escaped the local news scene.
We have to be careful with this one but the news is too important to ignore . . . Here are the basics:
Kansas City Westsiders and the metro Latino community mourns after the lives of two high-profile locals were (likely) tragically ended by way of fentanyl OD.
These guys were in their early 40s, beloved, with big extended families . . . Many of whom are still in shock. We don't want to delve into their biz but the reality is that the ODs represent a PUBLIC HEALTH THREAT and by sharing this warning with the community we only want to help so that others don't have to suffer this kind of tragedy.
Meanwhile . . . The political debate continues as partisans argue over harm reduction strategies vs. border control and legal crackdowns.
