Redux: Kansas City 18th & Vine Free Money Double Down

Not so long ago . . . When taxpayers were a bit more engaged in local economic matters, the council promised to stop shoveling cash into this district that has never achieved a sustainable biz model. 

For better or worse . . . That sentiment has disappeared given that KCMO also loses EVEN MORE MONEY on the 18th & Vine District. 

And so . . . 

We might as well keep up to date with taxpayer gifts going to a party district that has already hosted a mass shooting this Summer . . . Check-it:  

The City of Kansas City, Missouri, in partnership with the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City (EDCKC) and the Central City Economic Development (CCED) Sales Tax Board, has announced the approval of about $19 million for 15 projects in the 3rd and 5th council districts.
