ACTUALLY, this offer has been around for more than a decade but every now and then the local news helps to better inform locals . . . Check the reminder: 

"While KC Water maintains repairs on all water mains up to the curb box on private property, damages beyond that are the responsibility of the property owner. Most often, these are unplanned events not covered by regular insurance.
