It turns out the Golden Ghetto is ALSO divided on the future of Kansas City's team and (more importantly) paying for an EPIC stadium and hundreds of thousands of visitors every week . . .

"Well, there's multiple locations where they could go where they would fit," Overland Park Mayor Curt Skoog said when asked if there was enough room at the Aspiria site for both Fiserv and the Royals. "So, the question is all the surrounding pieces and parts, the traffic, the parking that we would need to dig into."
Skoog is being challenged by former City Council member Faris Farassati in this year's mayoral race. Farassati says he's had conversations with a lot of people about the potential of the Royals building in his city.
"I can assure you that not five percent of the people of Overland Park in the vicinity of this area that is being considered for a stadium want it there," he said in an interview
