New KC Royals Stadium & Clay County Sports Authority: Hype?!?

At this point, local news is pretty much useless regarding a new Royals stadium and the economic border war reboot . . .

CHIEFS & ROYALS HAVE MANUFACTURED CHAOS TO EARN EPIC TAXPAYER CASH!!! 

And so . . . We simply offer a glimpse at competing ideas when we all know the end game is just more subsidy for local BILLIONAIRES . . . 

"On Friday, Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe signed into law a bill that allows Clay County to create a Sports Complex Authority. The governor was surrounded by local and state leaders at Chappell’s, a well-known sports bar and museum in North Kansas City."

Meanwhile . . . From a not so hopeful report . . .

"I just wanted people to know, hey look, we are negotiating with the Royals. Yes, we are having conversations with the Royals. We are not close to a deal, but we are having conversations," Withington said.

Clay County Presiding Commissioner Jerry Nolte emphasized that while this is progress, it doesn't mean the deal is finalized.

"We should be optimistic, but it's not like there's something imminent," Nolte said.

For the North Kansas City location to become the future home of the Royals, there are several more steps in the process.
