The Wyandotte County community and officials across the metro are paying tribute to Wyandotte County Sheriff's Deputy Elijah Ming.
Ming was killed in a shooting Saturday afternoon after a woman called police just before 3:30 p.m. in the area of 30th Street and Shawnee Drive.
The woman said a man had threatened her with a gun earlier.
