Here is the nicest story in all of the metro so far this week that should inspire/allow even the most skeptical reader and excuse to grin . . . Check-it:
When Johnson County MED-ACT arrived, crews said they found a 23-year-old man who was unresponsive inside the business.
However, when they began to go inside, crews said the carbon monoxide detector they carried with them immediately began to sound. The patient was removed as crews treated him outside in the fresh air.
Peramedics noted that all the kittens from the shelter in the shared building were evacuated as the CO issue was mitigated.
