KU Coach Bill Self Doubles Up On Heart Stents: Career Conclusion Coming Soon?!?

First and foremost . . . We're glad to note that coach Bill Self is making a full recovery and seems to be doing well after a heart procedure.

However . . .

NOBODY GOES ON FOREVER & HIS B-BALL DAYS MIGHT BE NUMBERED AMID REPEATED HEART PROBS!!!

We're not mentioning any of this to be mean . . . It's just a reality that the demands of this pro-coaching job are EPIC and he should probably look out for his health first . . . Given that's the only thing that really matters for him (or anyone) in the long run . . . Meanwhile, here's an update . . . 

"The procedure went very well, and he is expected to make a full recovery," the school said in a statement. "He is in good spirits and expects to be released from the hospital soon."

In 2023, Self missed the Big 12 and NCAA tournaments after being hospitalized because of chest tightness and balance concerns. He underwent a heart catheterization and had two stents placed for the treatment of blocked arteries.

Kansas coach Bill Self was hospitalized Thursday after experiencing "some concerning symptoms" and had two stents inserted. The school said he is expected to make a full recovery.
