KCPS Shares Back To School Freebies

A weekend lesson in local giveaways, harsh times and the continued effort to support struggling families by way of government subsidy . . . Here's the word:

Saturday was the last day for parents to enroll their students in transportation for the first day of school.

There was a long line of families waiting outside, ready to get in. At the fair, families could also get their students’ vaccines, supplies, lunch, and have any questions answered.
