"At about 12:50 p.m., units with KCFD were called to the area of West 101st Terrace on the south side of Kansas City on reports of a water rescue, just north of Indian Creek and the Indian Creek trail.
"Emergency responders rescue a person who got caught up in the floodwaters and was holding onto a tree for safety."
