Kansas GOP Downplays MAGA Education Cuts & Highlight EPIC Cash Reserves

For anyone paying attention . . . The age-old lesson here is that EVERY FIGHT IS REALLY ABOUT MONEY BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE . . . 

And so, the objective question on this issue might be: 

Where should Kansas taxpayers prioritize spending?!?!

Schools are a pretty good option . . . Probably better than pro-sports stadiums.

Meanwhile, we appreciate our conservative friends presenting their perspective on spending cuts amid this current age of austerity that seems to be starting on the low-end . . .  

"The U.S. Education Department has announced it has put $6.2 billion in federal grants to state education agencies on hold that were appropriated by Congress. Kansas’ share of the federal spending reductions across all programs is over $45 million. However, media is not reporting that schools began the last year with $1.3 billion in operating cash reserves that largely represent state and local taxes provided in prior years that were not spent."
