BILLIONAIRES HUNT & SHERMAN DEMAND KANSAS CITY METRO BEGGING FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR!!! 

As always, there are no "good guys" in this story as taxpayers & plebs on the low-end will be dominated with news of free money for the elite and local politicos will sell sports glory as curmudgeonly tax fighter keyboard warriors nag the public without wielding much influence and merely serve as leverage for both sides of this border war boondoggle.  

More to the point . . .

Please stop talking about "Saving the K" because that's just stupid and CLEARLY not going to happen. If anything, the whole "grassroots" moment to preserve local history did nothing but extend this seemingly endless conversation and prove that local government is more concerned with pro-sports image than curbing crime, maintaining infrastructure, helping social services or providing decent education.

Again . . . We're always willing to listen to other opinions on the topic because there are MONTHS MORE in this big money parlay.

"Top Kansas lawmakers renewed a massive incentive offer for the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals on Monday, reaffirming their desire to poach one or both teams from Missouri.

"The Legislative Coordinating Council, or LCC, voted 7-0 to give the teams until Dec. 31, 2025, to lock in a deal with Kansas that would fund up to 70% of new stadium costs with public money."
