Kansas City Talker Hartzell Gray Announces Congressional Bid

The former radio jock and progressive activist has declared his intention to challenge Congressman Cleaver in an upcoming primary.

It's a long shot effort and part of a nationwide progressive push to offer voters an alternative to Democratic Party moderates.

We might talk about this one more  . . . But for now . . . Here's the word:  

"I’m Hartzell Gray, and I’m running for Congress in Missouri’s 5th District.

"People of my district are being priced out of our homes, locked out of opportunity, and told to wait our turn while politicians protect the same donors and recycle the same tired playbook.

"For too long, working people have carried the weight of a rigged system. Now they’re making it clear:

"We need leaders who will fight back.

"Fight back against oligarchs driving up the cost of living.

"Fight back against MAGA extremists threatening our rights and our democracy.

"And fight for working people, with a vision rooted in justice and dignity."
