Credit where it's due . . . In 2025 KCPD have garnered VERY REAL PROGRESS against illegal sideshows. 

TKC readers notice not only slightly quieter streets but also fewer clout chasing social media videos posted online.

KCPD are eager to share a glimpse of ongoing enforcement efforts . . . Check-it:  

"Kansas City is not a destination for anyone still trying to street race or participate in sideshows," the police department said on Facebook Monday.

During this past weekend, KCPD said officers arrested 17 people, issued 29 citations and towed 15 vehicles, including ATVs.

"Officers put a stop to these gatherings, arresting, towing and citing participants and spectators," KCPD said on Facebook.
