Kansas City Reserves Space For WNBA

 A peek behind the scenes of expansion efforts . . .

Despite not being selected, the group is reserving the land in hopes their vision comes to life in the next round of WNBA expansion.

“Not all of it’s developed,” he said. “[We] really thought there was great synergy by having the Current’s purpose-built facilities and the KC WNBA team’s purpose-built facilities all in the same spot. So stay tuned.”

The project would he 100% privately funded.

For the record, this same group said the lady soccer stadium would also remain 100% privately funded RIGHT BEFORE they accepted hefty tax subsidies.

Still . . . The big money couple are so nice that nobody bothers to notice these kind of deets.
