Kansas City Parking Rules Kill Small Biz

We like using the word byzantine to describe so many overly complicated cowtown systems . . . It makes us feel sorta smart.

Sadly . . . 

KCMO parking regs are more asinine than anything else and the rules have quite literally driven dozens of small time merchants away from this town . . . We can only guess that the same is true for TENS OF THOUSANDS of would-be shoppers.   

Here's a bit more worthwhile commentary on a longstanding problem . . . 

"What if local elected officials could, at no cost, lower construction costs, reduce housing prices, make it easier to start a business and cut red tape? They can, and it involves rolling back parking mandates."
