Behind the scenes Mayor Q continues to raise a TON of cash despite the fact that he's termed out and hasn't announced his follow-up gig. 

Unofficially, his supporters think they're cute and smarter than everyone by offering misdirection and claiming that he's going to play KC kingmaker and wield influence behind the scenes . . . As if the rising star could EVER imagine stepping away from the limelight.

 "I've received at least 4 emails in the last week, appears Quinton is going to run for Cleaver's seat."

The Senate rumor was fun but fantastical, Mayor Q will NEVER win a statewide contest in Missouri and, obviously, this kind of cash and efforts to continue collecting dollars don't fit the Beltway insider narrative.
