Today we notice a very distinct sign that the so-called "Downtown Renaissance" isn't going as well as we've been led to believe . . .
Thankfully, nobody was hurt.
Here's the aftermath . . .
"According to the Kansas City Fire Department, after fire personnel gained access to the secured building, they encountered heavy smoke conditions, along with a fire on the first floor. An offensive attack was initiated, and the fire was extinguished with two handlines and a booster line."
