Kansas City Fire Department Rescues Locals After Rainy Friday Morning

About this morning's hot mess . . .

The numbers are adding up . . .

BECAUSE EVERY TIME IT RAINS, IT FLOODS IN KANSAS CITY!!!

Accordingly . . .

Here's a bit of good advice and an update . . .

KCFD asked that drivers remember to:

- Never drive into high water. It only takes a few inches of moving water to sweep a vehicle downstream.

- Never walk in high water. Sewer covers easily become dislodged in this case, and it will be deadly if you fall into one.

- Your vehicle will stall, and you will become stranded if the water level is higher than the tailpipe of your vehicle.

- If you encounter high water on the roadway, find an alternate route.
