Jackson County Town Hall Double Date Amid Commercial Property Tax Assessment Crisis

Another series of meetings starts yet another trip to Jeff City for locals who don't are dismayed over sketchy assessments from the Courthouse.

Jackson County Legislators Manuel Abarca IV, Sean Smith and Venessa Huskey will host a Commercial Property Tax Appeals Town Hall on Wednesday, July 9th at The Atrium at J.Rieger & Co. located at 2700 Guinotte Ave., Kansas City MO 64120. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning promptly at 6:00 p.m.

This town hall aims to provide critical information to commercial property owners about the appeals process for property tax assessments. With the appeals deadline set for July
14th, this event will likely be the final opportunity for business owners to ask questions, receive guidance, and begin or finalize their appeals.
