Jackson County Recall Petitioners Start Fundraising & Fear Exec Frank White Victory

Today we wanted to share an important note wherein grassroots organizers ask for cash and tacitly admit their STILL fighting an uphill battle.

Our takeaway . . .

READ CLOSELY, IT'S BECOMING VERY LIKELY EXEC FRANK WHITE MIGHT SURVIVE RECALL VOTING!!!

Here's the crux of the ask . . .

"With each passing day, the likelihood of an Aug 26 election becomes more remote. I'm not ready yet to write off the court decisions, but as we've seen, justice is really slow in coming sometimes. That makes an election on Nov 4 where the recall question probable that it is going to be on the ballot.

"Let me explain why I am asking for us all to step up and make a difference. The need is great now. Frank White wanted this election in November because there is going to be a ballot issue about renewing a safety tax in Kansas City that will help bring out a lot of his supporters. He stood no chance of beating this recall in August and he knew it. Now he stands a chance. Remember, he got 117,000 votes in 2022.

"As an added incentive, for everybody who gives $25, they can get a "Recall Frank White" yard sign that will be at several distribution points across the County as soon as we raise enough money and get them printed. For $30, you can get two signs, one for you and one for a neighbor. Just print out your donation receipt and show it at the distribution point. (One of the spots for signs will be the MO Western GOP office on 40 Highway in Blue Springs.)

"For more than two years this has been a long, hard-fought battle for a lot of very determined people For two years we had people with clipboards stand in the snow, rain and heat getting a total of 98,000 signatures. Then we've had people show up at the County Legislature. We sent hundreds of emails to the Legislators."
