Yes, this is inside baseball . . . But locals who follow this kind of thing might have wondered why Legislator Jalen Anderson was so quick to flip against the Executive.
OR what convinced Republican and fiercely independent Jackson County Legislator Charlie Franklin to side with the majority.
Maybe it was union pressure, voter demands or a crisis of conscience . . . But we're pretty sure that behind the scenes lobbying from Chairman McGee might have also factored into surprising decisions in what was a historic series of veto overrides at the county.

To be fair . . . If locals ask him about it . . . He will politely decline comment and move on to talking about the deets of his job . . . Recent interviews with Steve Kraske & Jonathan Ketz haven't revealed much about his intentions despite questions on the topic.
