How Bad Will MAGA Big, Beautiful Bill Hurt Kansas City?!?

Without question the narrative this week throughout mainstream media has been overwhelming negativity and fear regarding the impact of MAGA cuts to the social safety net. 

Like it or not, voices touting the benefit of tax cuts and economic incentives are CLEARLY in the minority and overshadowed. 

Like all things . . . The question is political and so we put it to readers: 

SHOULD KANSAS CITY BE EXCITED FEARFUL OF THE BIG, BEAUTIFUL MAGA BUDGET?!?! 

So far  . . .

We've heard a lot of celebration over cuts but not much testimony about how locals will benefit directly and most of it theoretical . . . Seriously, if MAGA is helping you out, we'd love to hear how beyond the satisfaction of watching masked dudes roundup Latina housekeepers.

Looking around local neighborhoods it's hard to find much enthusiasm for street level economic gain.

More to the point . . . Just about every cut in local services is getting blamed on Prez Trump.

Here are just a few examples . . .  

"The KC Shepard’s Center Meals on Wheels program, the largest in the city, is cutting services in half.

"That means slashing their client list from more than 1,200 to less than 600. Meals on Wheels works to deliver lunch and breakfast to homebound seniors across the community."
