Here's How Kansas City 'Road Diet' Ruins Broadway Boulevard

First, a ground level fact check . . .

KANSAS CITY HAS DESTROYED EVERY STREET THEY'VE TOUCHED WITH "ROAD DIET" SCHEMES!!!

 The skinny . . .

Road diets turn local streets into a confusing & slow moving maze that hasn't helped to curb KCMO car crashes if tragic trending numbers are any indication. 

Sadly . . .

The local argument is a very cynical: "Do what we say or die" call-to-action that doesn't leave much room for nuance or debate . . . Despite rigged "open houses" jam-packed with ringers, consultants and just a few clueless middle-class white ladies with purple hair. 

Here's their side of the story and the tacit threat . . .   

"Data from the city shows that over the last decade, there were five fatal crashes, 33 serious injury crashes, and 415 minor injury crashes in this area. It also shows that the average number of fatal crashes is going up."

Now take a look at the sketchy plan . . .

Sadly, all of these designs look HORRIBLE and like a great place to sustain a serious injury by so many drivers who will be confused by this dangerous amateur urban planning.
