It’s best to leave your furry friends at home in a specific room or crate surrounded by the comfort of familiarity.
"Me personally, I put them in a secure room and I play classical music and I just make it, you know, nice, dark and dim and keep it calm and relaxing," said Sydney Mollentine, president of the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.
