There's a weird Kansas City myth of "progress" against violent crime despite an uptick in homicides and noticeably rougher streets in 2025.
Moreover . . . We've had so many mass shootings so far this year that local MSM has stopped using the term.
Sadly, here's a peek at more local violence tonight . . .
"KCPD says that around 4:00 p.m., officers were sent to the area near 118th Street and Winchester Avenue on a shooting call. When those officers arrived, they located multiple people in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
"KCPD says that in that parking lot, two victims were found with gunshot wounds as well. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, and one woman was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries."
