Tragically . . . This latest result of deadly gunfire pushes KCMO closer to reaching the homicide century mark before the end of July.
Here are the basics . . .
"The investigation has revealed that the incident may have occurred near 69th St. and Bellefontaine Ave. Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and are working to find out what led to the shooting.
"There is currently no one in custody and the investigation continues.
"If anyone was in or around the area at this time and saw or heard anything they are asked to contact Homicide detectives directly at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline anonymously at 816-474-TIPS, there is a reward of up to $25,000 for information submitted to the TIPS Hotline."
