Actually . . . This isn't such a bad idea as far as spectators go . . . On the other hand, a bunch of soccer fans coming back home on darkened KC streets represents additional concerns for authorities.

FIFA has raised concerns about extreme heat with less than a year to go until the 2026 World Cup.
As the Club World Cup is presently being played amidst high heat in New Jersey, FIFA President Gianni Infantino was quoted at a press conference over the weekend saying, “We have stadiums with roofs, and we will definitely use these stadiums during the day next year.”
