"I recently read about the Atlanta Braves stadium and their 'revolutionary' new idea . . . The Braves bucked the downtown/urban trend and built a ballpark in the suburbs where most of their fans reside.
"That’s why I get confused from the Royals and everyone from that organization. Because all I ever hear is Downtown, the Crossroads maybe even Mid Town. WHY???? By the time the new stadium is built the trend in MLB will be suburban stadiums attached to entertainment districts.
"This is the first time KC has a chance to be ahead of the pack instead of behind it.
"That’s why the best area for stadium is North KC or Johnson County. If I’m the Royals I wouldn’t consider downtown."
