The Southern Poverty Law Center's "Hate Map" identifies 10 active hate groups in Kansas, a number consistent with 2023.
These groups are categorized as Anti-LGBTQ, Anti-government, Conspiracy Propagandists, Neo-Volkisch and White Nationalist.
The list includes organizations like the Westboro Baptist Church, Moms for Liberty chapters and Patriot Front.
The SPLC's "Hate Map" has faced criticism for its inclusion criteria and alleged bias, with some arguing it unfairly labels certain groups as extremist.
