Show-Me Conservative Frustration With Senator Hawley For Fair Wage Fight?!?

Let's get our bias out of the way first . . .

ANYBODY OPPOSING 15 BUCKS AN HOUR IS SHOWING THEIR AGE & BIG BIZ BRAINWASHING!!!

YES, small biz can get by with paying this amount and if they can't then maybe they should rip off some of their relatives rather than the public.

 Fact is . . .

The inflation of the Biden era nearly destroyed the American economy and 15 bucks isn't what it used to be . . . Yet, financial reality hasn't convinced more than a few conservative friends.

Still . . . 

We think Senator Hawley making this move is one of the strongest populist legislative push we've seen in years and hope that he can convince his colleagues . . .

The legislation, called the "Higher Wages for American Workers Act," would raise the federal standard starting in 2026 and would also call for an increase in subsequent years to match inflation, CBS News has exclusively learned. Vermont Democratic Sen. Peter Welch has signed on as a co-sponsor. 

"For decades, working Americans have seen their wages flatline. One major culprit of this is the failure of the federal minimum wage to keep up with the economic reality facing hard-working Americans every day," Hawley said in a statement to CBS News. "This bipartisan legislation would ensure that workers across America benefit from higher wages."
