TKC noted the restaurant shut down months ago and a few readers guessed that a Mexican place would take over . . .
Still . . . The low rent location comes with OBVIOUS dangers that ultimately contributed to the demise of the previous owner . . . On the bright side . . . It's easier to grab a burrito and hit the road then enjoy a sit down gourmet Irish meal.
Here's a preview of the switcheroo in the aftermath of a horrific killing wherein the assailant will likely only earn a wrist-slap on juvy charges . . . Check-it:
"Less than a year ago, tragedy struck a Kansas City Irish restaurant. Shaun Brady — the owner of Brady & Fox — was shot and killed outside his business in August 2024 while taking out the trash. At first, the restaurant’s future was up in the air, but a “for lease” sale that went up in January signaled its fate.
"Gepsiva Ramos, who’s now opening a Mexican restaurant in the former pub location at 751 E. 63rd St., realizes Brady and his restaurant were beloved by the community."
