Lisa Lopez-Galvan Family Files Lawsuit After Chiefs Mass Shooting

On this #TBT we remember one of Kansas City's worst tragedies as legal consequences continue even after most of the shooters were freed with nothing more than a wrist slap.  

However . . .

The most interesting part of this lawsuit might be the inclusion of local gun sellers.

The family of the woman killed in a shooting at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl rally in February 2024 has filed suit against the city, gun manufacturers and sellers, and several others.

“Each defendant played a part in this tragedy,” the lawsuit says, calling the shooting that killed Lisa Lopez-Galvan and injured 22 others preventable. “So each must be held accountable.”

The lawsuit, filed by Lisa Lopez-Galvan’s surviving husband, Michael, and their children Marc and Adriana, lists Union Station, the City of Kansas City, the Greater Kansas City Sports Commission, O’Neill Events & Marketing, Flyover Event Co., Frontier Justice, The Ammo Box, and R.K. Shows as defendants. It also lists several individuals . . .
