KCPD Confront Youngsters Armed With Heavy Artillery

The fact of life that locals should probably understand . . .

POLICE PIX REVEAL KANSAS CITY TEENS ARMED WITH HEAVY ARTILLERY!!!  

Yes, there's a bit of hyperbole involved here and as of yet KCPD hasn't had to go up against somebody armed with a Howitzer . . . But . . . The guns on display are far from "Saturday Night Specials" or even 9mm sidearms that were once weapons of choice of the criminal class. Like it or not, there's definitely more firepower on local streets. 

Thankfully, law enforcement took these guns off the street in an ongoing effort to curb deadly local violence. 

Here's the word . . .  

"Officers recovered these weapons recently while arresting young adults and juveniles who were committing crimes in different parts of the city."
