Critics of marijuana legislation feared robberies targeting weed outlets and their concern was not without merit. 

Here's a quote from a recent story that proves as much . . .  

Accused of unlawfully entering KC Cannabis and Sunrise Dispensary with the intent to steal, and of stealing more than $750 worth of cannabis products from Sunrise Dispensary.

He also allegedly shattered glass doors at both businesses.

SUSPECT and four other men are accused of taking part in a burglary ring that included at least 100 nonresidential burglaries in the metro.
