Kansas City Council Dude Duncan Vows To Prevail 'In Era Of Fascism'

Posted in the aftermath of the latest federal holiday and, like it or not, probably referencing Kansas City life under the rule of MAGA . . . 

Either way, we consider this line from a council dude who proudly proclaims his Black/Latino & Military Veteran roots. 

More importantly . . .

"Juneteenth hit different this year- it felt more important to show up and show out on Freedom Day. 

"I stood in solidarity with @SEIULocal1 as they fight for fair wages for janitorial workers. 

"I celebrated with @kansascitydefender and @decarceratekc at their free cookout for the people.

"I joined @1800nasi in conversation about the power of storytelling and recapturing our history through a Black queer lens in an era of fascism."
