Many of the cooling centers can be found throughout the Kansas City area by visiting the United Way of Greater Kansas City (211) website. A list of cooling centers can be found and can be searched by location, best match, alphabetically and more.
You can also go to the home page then click “seasonal resources” and click on “cooling centers” listed under June, July and August. Locations are listed all throughout the nearby Kansas and Missouri areas, with a total of 118 locations. Hours are also listed for the majority of locations.
