Kansas City 2025 Homicide #69: Police Investigate East Armour Apartment Homicide

 Homicide 900 block of E Armour

This morning just before 10am officers were called to an apartment in the 900 block of E Armour with KCFD on a medical call.

The caller advised they came home and found an adult male unresponsive at their apartment that had unknown injuries and they called for an ambulance.

On arrival officers were led inside an apartment unit at the location and located the victim unresponsive with injuries. EMS responded and declared the victim deceased here at the scene.

Homicide detectives have responded to the scene and started their investigation. Detectives are canvassing for witnesses and any additional evidence. They are working with crime scene investigators to process the scene, and the medical examiners office to work to determine cause of death.

This homicide occurred in an apartment building presumably with many potential witnesses so detectives are optimistic that someone heard or saw something that will help give them some information about what led up to the victim being injured.

There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information submitted anonymously to the TIPS hotline.
