Jackson County Prosecutor Melesa Johnson became emotional, saying she heard some of this weekend's gunfire from her bedroom.

"Grown men sitting on milk cartons, gambling, smoking, doing drugs in the open air, and we are just supposed to send a blind eye to that and not care? How? In what world?" Johnson questioned. "So we're going to keep prosecuting."
