In the last 30 seconds of a two-hour special meeting on June 16, the Merriam City Council revealed that Trader Joe’s has filed a building permit application for an upcoming redevelopment project.
At Mayor Bob Pape’s prompting, a representative pulled the permit application up on the screen, acknowledging it is likely “the one that folks will be the most interested in.”
