Scammers Faking Donna Kelce Play Upon Cynical Marketing Hype

The reality that is downplayed by TV & social media . . .

Donna Kelce is the mum of two millionaires well on their way to becoming billionaires and she lives in a different world than most of the plebs watching her during football games.

She might look like a housewife . . . But she's even more elite than most members of Congress or the gabby goofballs at the local golf course.

And so . . .

We kinda blame effective marketing for making Donna Kelce seem sooooo relatable when in fact she doesn't have anything in common with the working-class despite her rotund looks.

And, sadly, here's the consequence of that image . . .

A North Dakota woman couldn’t believe her good fortune when she received a text from someone claiming to be Donna Kelce, the mother of Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

Unfortunately, the text was actually from a scam artist who later told the woman she had won a new pickup truck and the chance to meet Taylor Swift, Valley News Live reported. To get the truck, all Mary Pickarell of West Fargo, North Dakota, would need was $100 in gift cards from Walmart, that story noted.

Unfortunately, the promise of a once-in-a-lifetime prize proved to be a fake.
