Remembering With Kansas City WWII Veterans

A worthwhile flashback Friday documentary with the last remnants of the greatest generation . . . Here's the story:

80 years after the Allied victory in World War II, Kansas City PBS examines the enduring legacy of World War II through the lens of Harry S. Truman of Independence, Missouri, and Dwight D. Eisenhower of Abilene, Kansas, whose leadership played decisive roles in ending the war including D-Day and the dropping of the atomic bombs on Japan. World War II veterans also speak on what their experience was in relation to these decisions.
