Recall Threatens To Strip Jackson County Exec Of Pension Benefits

As we noted earlier today . . . Things are getting serious at the courthouse and here's one more peek at local elected officials playing for keeps. 

NEW LEGISLATION ARGUES AGAINST TAXPAYER SUPPORT OF POLITICOS IF THEY'RE THROWN OUT!!!

Obviously, the context is that the ongoing recall against Executive Frank White is gaining traction.

However . . . 

 Legislator Manny Abarca explains his proposal here . . .

"Today, I introduced legislation that would strip pension and health benefits from elected officials who are recalled and the staff that directly reports to them.

"The goal isn’t punitive, it’s meant to ensure that if you do wrong by @JacksonCountyMO residents, you don’t deserve to reap the benefits of doing a bad job."
