An advisory jury is a set of jurors who advise the judge, but do not decide the details of the case; the judge's decision is final.
The motion was denied, meaning there will be no advisory jury. The case will move forward to a competency hearing on May 30 at 9 a.m.
Scott's case is currently on hold to determine whether he's competent to stand trial.
