"Lake Quivira returned to normal Sunday as people lined the shores and launched their boats, less than 24 hours after a deadly boating accident. Police say one person died around 6 p.m. Saturday following a boating incident on the lake. According to the mayor, first responders began searching for the missing boat operator shortly after the accident. The body was recovered about an hour later."
