Kansas Guv Kelly Fights For Medicaid

Sorry but . . .

Billionaires cutting the social safety net of broke-ass Kansas residents is neither conservative nor fiscally responsible. For some it's a betrayal, for others an opportunity . . . But it's hard to argue that unplugging granny represents anything other than partisan beef worsening the seemingly endless cycle of human misery that hasn't been solved by the corrupt brand of capitalism that rules most political campaigns and the global banking system.

And so . . .

Guv Kelly might not win many fans for her efforts to fight for Medicaid BUT it's the right thing to do for anyone but the most diehard partisan hack. 

Here's a peek . . . 

Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly urged the state's congressional delegation to oppose potential Medicaid cuts. Kelly says proposed cuts could reduce federal Medicaid funding to Kansas by $1 billion, impacting services and eligibility.

Republican leaders accuse Kelly of fearmongering, claiming the focus is on eliminating waste and fraud.

While Kansas hasn't expanded Medicaid, Kelly argues potential cuts would still negatively impact the state.
