Kansas City Social Media Season Of Developer Hype FOREVER

As always, this blog is an exercise in LOCAL MEDIA LITERACY for our constant readers.

And so . . .

We've noticed a great many developer bloggers gaining traction by way of sponsored posts, gimmicks and a very busy schedule. That's cool, we respect everyone's grind.

However . . .

It's also our JORB to better inform the discourse and step BEYOND local hype.

To wit . . .

LET'S NOT FORGET SOCIAL MEDIA BOOSTED, SPONSORED & HYPE POSTS DO NOT REPRESENT A CONSENSUS OR REALITY!!! MOST OF IT IS JUST SPAM/BOT CALL & RESPONSE GARBAGE!!!

In fact . . .

In this age of AI we're not really certain that any of this junk influences REAL PEOPLE and/or voters.

For instance . . .

Most KCMO residents we know understand that the South Loop scheme is quickly falling apart and might not materialize . . . And yet . . . Lesser social media bot AI content is merely reprinting hype reports and calling it coverage . . . It's not . . . It's garbage . . . But we need garbage men,

And so . . . We wanted to share some content from people who simply don't know much about KC . . .

"A highway divided KC for decades. Now we’re putting a 5.5-acre park on top of it. Groundbreaking for Roy Blunt Luminary Park is coming soon — and it’s about to change downtown for good."
