
A reminder that late night bicyclists might not always follow the rules of the road as this East side collision proves deadly . . . Here's the report . . .
"The Kansas City Police Department reported that just before 10:30 p.m., officers and emergency crews were called to the intersection of East 31st Street and Flora Avenue on reports of a life-threatening injury crash.
"Initial investigations revealed that the driver of a Schwinn Bicycle had been cycling northbound on Flora when they drove through a stop sign.
"KCPD said the bicyclist then drove into the intersection of East 31st Street and was hit by a Honda Civic.
"Shortly after emergency responders arrived, the bicyclist was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, but died shortly after arriving, according to KCPD."
