Debating economic in Kansas City is always a fun time if only because polite Midwesterners absolutely HATE talking about money. 

Our favorite bloggy tradition . . . In the TKC comments there is always a doofus claiming EPIC riches and even better fortunes thanks to MAGA moves whilst likely typing from some horrific trailer park. 

The reality . . .

The vast majority of workers in Kansas City CONTINUE TO STRUGGLE despite the change in White House administrations.  

In the era of post-capitalism we're starting to see that the global problems are systemic and really doesn't have much to do with American policy that's mostly just an exercise in clandestine crony patronage.

In the meantime as another local burger chain packs up and moves out of town . . .

This Summer Kansas City seems to be confronting yet another economic downturn for everyone but the elite as we notice more shut downs & layoffs.
