The Kansas City, Kansas, Planning Commission is scheduled to review the plan Monday.
If approved, the site would become home to Amazon’s Prime Air drone operations, using MK30 drones to deliver packages within a 7.5-mile radius.
Amazon’s proposal includes setting up launch pads, modular buildings and battery storage units at the southeast corner of the 125-acre site.
The project still requires final FAA approval before drones can take flight.
